Better Being Underground, day one: Many months of hard work, preparation and change have led to this day. I might as well tell you. We redesigned our kitchen, our menu, our thinking, our sleep patterns (!)  And if all the change and hard work and sandwich testing & menu refining and all those restless nights wasn't enuff, now I have to BLOG about it?!   Geez...

Sorry, didn't mean to go Andy Rooney on ya.  

We got lunch. That's it. But oh, do we got lunch.  A-mazing soups, seasonal salads, great sandwiches.  We're throwing in a Mcclure's pickle with every one. We got daily specials and lots of vegetarian fare, too. All fresh. FRESH. Oh, and baked goods. We do love chocolate. And local drinks like Joe Tea, Fizzy Lizzy & Teany Organic Teas.
We've been honing our skills on some pretty discerning palates. Its New York, after all. Check our website for more on that: www.betterbeing.net The point is, we're into lunch. Our clients have been telling us for years we should open a take-out shop. Ok, we are. TODAY. Right in the middle of our kitchen. Its tiny but the menu is tight. We'll try to post it every day to entice you. That's it. We open at Noon. An interview just showed up! What was I thinking?  OMG.
